Amistad de Los Angeles
Located in Historic South Central Los Angeles, Amistad de Los Angeles is a living example of effective alternatives to traditional incarceration.
Beacon
Located in Los Angeles, Beacon is a residential teaching community that gives our “mentors” (individuals with a former life sentence) a chance to start a new chapter with confidence and support.
California Prisons
Amity Foundation believes healing begins inside each person. Our vision is to transform carceral structures like prisons, jails, and detention centers into places where proven methods are used to support incarcerated people on the path to habilitation and recovery.
Circle Tree Ranch
Amity Foundation’s flagship campus in Tucson, Arizona offers an evidence-based alternative to traditional addiction treatment – focused on teaching the importance of community and the value of developing authentic relationships.
Dragonfly Housing Community
Amity Foundation’s 39-unit, permanent supportive housing community in Tucson, AZ offers a place for unhoused individuals and families to stay, recover, and build critical life skills.
La Entrada de Los Angeles
La Entrada is Amity’s first dedicated community campus for women that gives students the tools to break multigenerational cycles of substance abuse, trauma, and violence.
Vista Ranch
Vista Ranch, just outside of San Diego, provides a structured, teaching environment for 60 parolees in San Diego County, providing them with substance abuse and wrap-around reentry services.

Breaking the cycle of homelessness in Los Angeles isn’t just about building more housing – it’s about providing chronically unhoused individuals with the care and support they need to break the cycle.
Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming (STOP)
The word “stop” normally signals an end to something, a warning, or a prohibition – but at Amity Foundation, STOP means opportunity, progress, and new beginnings. Individuals leaving prison or county jails face a complex set of needs and challenges that, if unmet or unaddressed, can lead to a life-long cycle of incarceration.
Employment Services
As our students progress on their healing, recovery, and reentry journey – access to employment opportunities is critical as they learn how to support themselves, their families, and give back to their community.
Policy & Legislative Priorities
Amity Foundation’s advocacy goes beyond the direct services we provide for students. We are proud to stand with a broad coalition in advocating for and supporting the implementation of transformative, system-level changes to the justice system.

Amity Foundation works closely with the Los Angeles County Justice, Care, and Opportunities Department (JCOD) to expand opportunities for justice-impacted individuals, families, and communities.
ARC’s Hollywood Dorm
Connecting justice-involved youth with housing and job training opportunities with the Hollywood Cinema Production Resources (CPR) program.
California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR)
Amity partners with state and local agencies to connect young people who are justice-involved with opportunities to grow, serve their community, and step into a stable career path.
