Amity at Beacon Team Receives Award at Heroes of Los Angeles Gala

On October 29th, the team from Amity at Beacon was invited to attend the 2nd Annual Heroes of Los Angeles Celebration & Award Show. The event is intended to celebrate individuals and organizations that are committed to making changes in our communities and is hosted by Strike Out Against Drugs and Drug Free World LA. The event featured special guest speaker and Founder of Red Ribbon Week, Mr. Henry Lozano, as well as special appearances from Jessica McCall and Taylor Williams.

During the event, our team received a Heroes of Los Angeles award. The award was for demonstration in our community by the neighborly transitional house, Beacon of Hope, located across the street.
