1) Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) Training

Epidaurus DBA Amity Foundation is seeking proposals from qualified instructors to deliver the Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) occupational training program in partnership with the National Apartment Association (NAA). The selected instructor will provide instruction to 40 participants across two cohorts using NAA’s 85-hour curriculum, to prepare individuals for entry-level residential and commercial maintenance jobs.

Scope of Services

The CAMT Program is an industry-recognized credential accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The training prepares participants for careers in apartment and facilities maintenance by developing core technical, safety, and professional skills aligned with industry standards.

·        Credential: Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT)

·        Curriculum 85-hour NAA-developed CAMT training

·        Participants: 40 total

·        Cohorts: 2 cohorts (approximately 20 participants each)

·        Target Outcome: Preparation for entry-level residential and commercial maintenance employment and CAMT certification readiness.

Who Can Apply:

This funding opportunity is open to a broad range of organizations capable of providing high-quality services to justice-involved individuals preparing for reentry in Los Angeles County.

Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

·         Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status as determined by the Internal Revenue Service

·        Business entities, including Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), Professional Corporations (PCs) and other legally recognized service providers registered to do business in California. 

Additional Requirements:

·        All applicants must be registered with the California Secretary of State and have a status of “Good Standing.” 

·        Verification of good standing can be completed via the California Business Search: https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business.

2) Addiction Treatment Studies (ATS)

Epidaurus DBA Amity Foundation is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide Addiction Treatment Studies (ATS) online educational coursework designed to prepare participants for employment in addiction treatment and related behavioral health fields. 

Scope of Services

The ATS online educational program will serve one cohort of ten (10) participants who will complete the coursework and fieldwork over three (3) academic semesters.

·        Deliver all required ATS coursework

·        Ensure curriculum aligns with the State of California, Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) and California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP), and Career and Technical Education (CTE) requirements

·        Participants: 10 total

·        Cohorts: 1 cohort (10 participants)
