RFP 1) The Logistics and Warehouse Operations Training:
Epidaurus, doing business as Amity Foundation invites proposals from qualified training providers to support the delivery of The Logistics and Warehouse Operations Training initiative to justice-involved individuals preparing for reentry in Los Angeles County. This initiative is funded through a U.S. Department of Labor Pathways Home 5 grant. This initiative serves participants who are within 20 to 270 days of release from state correctional facilities and continues to provide post-release services with the goal of credential attainment, employment in union-track careers, and long-term job retention.
Overview
This Request for Proposal aims to select a qualified organization that will deliver this industry-recognized training that will equip justice-involved individuals with the essential skills to succeed in roles such as warehouse technician, inventory associate, shipping/receiving clerk, and logistics coordinator. The Logistics and Warehouse Operations training pathway prepares participants for in-demand careers in the fast-growing logistics and supply chain industry.
The selected organization will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive Logistics and Warehouse Operations Training program that aligns with the goals of the Pathway Home 5 Grant. The program must be structured to meet the needs of the justice-involved population that lead to industry-recognized credentials and employment outcomes.
Who Can Apply
This funding opportunity is open to a broad range of organizations capable of providing high-quality services to justice-involved individuals preparing for reentry in Los Angeles County.
Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:
· Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status as determined by the Internal Revenue Service
· Business entities, including Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), Professional Corporations (PCs) and other legally recognized service providers registered to do business in California.
Additional Requirements:
· All applicants must be registered with the California Secretary of State and have a status of “Good Standing.”
· Verification of good standing can be completed via the California Business Search: https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business.

This initiative is funded through a U.S. Department of Labor Pathways Home 5 grant. This initiative serves participants who are within 20 to 270 days of release from state correctional facilities and continues to provide post-release services with the goal of credential attainment, employment in union-track careers, and long-term job retention.

Email Requirements:
Include a brief email message identifying the submitting organization and a list of all the attached documents
Ensure that the total email size does not exceed 25MB. If needed, submit attachments across multiple emails, clearly labeling each (e.g., Email 1 of 2)
Acknowledgement of Receipt:
Applicants will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days of submission. If no confirmation is received.
